Eight Bells pub (now a private residence). The landlord
of the pub at the time is believed to have been a Mr Oxb(e)y.

The old Sun Inn in Caythorpe High Street has long since closed for business. Apparently there used to be a fish and chip shop out back |

All that remains of this splendid building in Old Lincoln Road is the left hand gatepost. The design on the gatepost is a clue to its name, Holy Cross |
